Young at Art Program Policies:

 

*Young at Art strives to keep the maximum class size to 16 students. Enrollment is taken on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified immediately if class is full.

***Your child’s space will not be reserved until paperwork has been received.****

 

*Our studio is located in the “Backyard Club House”.  Please drop artists at the Dresden Street entrance and have them walk to the studio. Please be prompt at both drop-off and pick-up, and be mindful that this is a neighborhood filled with children .  Carpooling and walking are encouraged whenever possible.  If you arrive early, please wait on Summit Avenue.  It is a wide street and your parked car will not cause congestion there.

 

*Makeup Class Policy:  There will be no make-ups for missed classes. Please call ahead if there will be an absence and I will happily set aside materials to be completed at home.

 

*Class cancellation policy:  Young at Art will not necessarily be closed whenever MCPS are closed. Program status will be posted on the website and parents will be emailed e-mailed no later than 12 noon that day.

 

*Parents will be responsible for his or her child’s safe transportation to and from the Backyard “Clubhouse” Studio.
